Cole Harden retired

A new career awaits Cole Harden, as the 2015 World Hurdle winner has joined the Greatwood charity after being retired due to injury.

The nine-year-old won six times during his 24-race career, with his Cheltenham Festival victory his last success. He was sent chasing last year, but was not sighted on the track after last August.

“He’s been an absolute star for the yard and put my career on the map. He was a very tough and consistent horse with a huge will to win. I’m really glad he’s gone to such a great home, where he’ll be looked after brilliantly in his retirement.”
said his trainer, Warren Greatrex

Cole Harden will now help educate children, young people and adults with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities through equine assisted learning at Greatwood’s Marlborough base.
