Jo’s involvement in the racing industry spans 20 years, starting when she began riding out for Alan Blackmore- a permit trainer in Hertfordshire – at the age of 14.
Her interest and love of horses started at an early age (it is said that she could ride before she could walk!) and while still at school she successfully competing at show jumping and eventing.
Jo has been training for a number of years now and although it hasn’t been an easy road, she is glad that she has faced the challenges of being in yards that weren’t healthy and training horses that were less than talented, it has made her appreciate and enjoy being in a clean and healthy environment at Parsons Close stables and finally training some slightly more talented animals!
Jo feels that she has learnt so much (and continues to do so), about the many pitfalls and problems that can occur and how much attention to detail matters to the big picture, she now feels really confident and able to advise owners the best way to train their horses.
We have no runners today.
